AVET SX SERIES

The Avet SX reel was the first Avet I had ever had the pleasure to see and use. Since then, they have made a few changes and revisions to evolve the incredible Avet SX into the sweet reel it is today!! It rapidly became a fixture on inshore and offshore vessels then migrated to the surf, where today the Avet SX is widely known to be the longest distance casting out-of-the-box reel ever made! They are fast… real fast (I call this critter the "Pocket Rocket". Their freespool often runs better than 2 minutes with the reel spun sitting on a counter. That is absolutely amazing for a factory reel. That incredible freespool makes them cast like a rocket, allowing the angler to pitch live baits with ease and still have a reel with the power and guts to get the job done on bigger fish. Surf fisherman are casting over 800 feet with this reel! Because of the reel's speed, I offer the Avet SX model in a MAG version using only the finest RARE EARTH MAGNETS to help prevent backlashes. If you are going to be surf fishing, casting or pitching baits, the SX MAG is the way to go… trust me on this one! The Avet SX reels are available in GOLD, SILVER and BLUE (left hand available in SILVER only).
