The Daiwa Sealine X HA and SHA models are absolutely some of the finest reels ever made by Daiwa or anyone else! No matter if your choice is the "standard" 4.9:1 ratio HA series (I have to laugh because 4.9:1 is now considered a "normal speed" reel) or the lightning fast 6:1 SHA series, there is a Daiwa Sealine X that is right for you. The Sealine X models all feature Daiwa's finest components like CRBB corrosion-proof bearings, Free-floating spool and bronze/stainless gearing. Surf casting, live baiting, bottom fishing, trolling… no matter what, there is not a better star drag reel made at any price. I have fished these critters for many years and never once had a problem with one! They are VERY smooth, cast like a missile and Sealine X drag is absolutely second to none. I highly recommend them!
