The Daiwa Emcast Surf Rods are very high-performance, quality made rods and pack a true Daiwa 1 year warranty. I highly recommend them. One thing about Daiwa Surf rods (including the Emblem) they tend to be softer than advertized. They are on the lower end of the lure ratings... example... a rods rated 3-8 ounces is a true 3-5 or 6 ounce rod. The only real exception is the XH models, they are spot on with ratings. All 2 piece rods are 2 equal length pieces and all Fast Action.
